(Received April 18, 1977)

The intensity dependence of He II (hν=40.8 eV) resonance radiation on the helium gas pressure has been measured using a modified capillary-type discharge lamp.
It is found that the intensity of He II resonance radiation increases gradually as the pressure goes down to 0.03 Torr, and increases rapidly below 0.03 Torr.
