Coupled-Field-Analysis and Dynamic Improvement of Ultraslim Optical Pickup Actuator

We propose coupled-field analysis that enables the precise analysis of the dynamic characteristics of optical pickup actuators. The effectiveness of the proposed method is confirmed by applying it to improve the performance of an ultraslim pickup actuator by some optimization methods. The redesigned actuator is evaluated in dynamic experiments.
