A liquid crystal (LC) lens driven by two voltages used as an imaging device is reported. An imaging system composed of the LC lens and a glass lens is set up. The high optical quality of the LC lens is manifested and very sharp color images are formed by the system. Chromatic aberration of the composed lens system is also very small.
