The dc field-cooled susceptibilities, χ, of annealed AuFe with nominal concentrations, c, of 0.5, 1 and 2 at.% Fe have been measured in the ranges 2≤T<150K and 1≤H≤50000G. Spin-glass temperatures, Tg, were determined from the cusps in χ at low field. Analysis of the data above 3Tg determined the Weiss constants, Θ, and the effective magneton numbers, p. Assuming S=3/2 for Fe, values of g, the spectroscopic splitting factor, were derived from p.
